We are currently seeking a Controller to lead our accounting team and support the financial health of our organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger functions
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial controls
  • Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage daily cash activites, fund transfers, and short-term investment portfolio
  • Manage and mentor the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
  • Drive process improvements and implement system enhancements to optimize efficiency
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all financial practices

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accouting, finance, or related field
  • Minium seven (7) years of progressive accounting experience
  • At least three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule excedding 40 hours/week as needed

Preferred:

  • Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Excel, Ajera, VantagePoint)
