This new faculty lounge, located in the Heider College of Business, is a cozy, flexible space where faculty can connect, collaborate, or simply reset between everything the school year brings. Dubbed “The Roost”, the lounge is designed around the idea of a nest. The Roost incorporates warm lighting and materials, dynamic graphics, layered wood detailing, and custom-built elements to create a space that feels both inviting and energizing.
Bluejays of a feather fly together.
In our long partnership with Creighton University, we have set a precedent for reinforcing their identity through architectural details. The iconic bluejay mascot is represented throughout this project, and many of the forms nod at birdhouses, nests, and the forest.
