The existing therapies department occupied a small location within the hospital that limited growth, constrained patient care, and created a disjointed workflow for staff and patients. Meanwhile, nearby conference rooms and shell space remained underutilized. The project team recognized an opportunity to repurpose these spaces into a larger, unified rehabilitation environment capable of supporting current needs while preparing for future program growth.

"Our treatment options have increased exponentially. Both patient and therapist satisfaction have increased in the month since we've been here. We now have the options and capabilities in Blair, so people can be treated here."

- Ryan McCabe, Department Manager

The renovation centered on creating a highly visible, patient-focused rehabilitation environment organized around movement, therapy, and recovery. Relocating all therapy functions into a single unified department improved staff oversight, enhanced patient flow, and eliminated the inefficiencies associated with the previous fragmented arrangement.
