Omaha Performing Arts (O-pa), dedicated to creating a vibrant arts and entertainment experience in Omaha and the region, has seen significant growth within recent years. Holland Basham Architects has played a critical role in expanding the downtown Omaha campus. Teamed with Ennead Architects, we designed the award-winning Steelhouse live music and events venue, which opened its doors in 2023.
Located directly across Dodge Street from Steelhouse and the Holland Performing Arts Center, the Tenaska Center will complete the O-pa campus expansion and offer additional rehearsal, workshop, and classroom spaces to accommodate the growing education and community engagement programs. A large event venue will also be part of the new center supporting occasions like weddings, corporate events, and nonprofit gatherings.
