At the crossroads of 15th and Farnam Streets in downtown Omaha, Trio Apartments mark a bold yet respectful act of urban renewal.
What was once a collection of three aging historic structures, the Drexel, Pease, and Central Buildings, has been thoughtfully reimagined into a vibrant mixed-use residential redevelopment. The design team approached the project as an architectural excavation; uncovering stories, salvaging character, and restoring spirit.
Recovered green wallpaper, exposed structure, and reclaimed materials maintain the integrity of the historical building, even as it's adapted to today's urban lifestyle. Wherever possible, existing walls and windows were preserved.
