Holland Basham Architects is an established, mid-size firm seeking a talented designer to join our dynamic and creative interior design team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to be part of exciting projects in a variety of sectors, including corporate office, higher education, multi-family, healthcare, retail, and more.   • Programming and space planning
  • Facilities planning
  • Materials specifications
  • Preparing design and construction documents
  • Furniture procurement
  • Corporate branding


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited college or university required
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial architectural or architectural/engineering firm
  • Certification as a licensed professional is preferred but not required


  • Experience planning and designing interior aspects of large or multiple projects
  • Experience in a wide variety of commercial project types and sizes
  • Experience in all phases of design and construction, including full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating interior design assignments
  • Ability to develop appropriate concepts and approaches
  • Subject matter expert on specific components of interior design
  • Significant Revit experience (current version)
  • Knowledgeable in the use of SketchUp
  • Software proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Outstanding client and team management skills and excellent customer service abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and self-motivation skills and abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Physical Demands

  • Constant keyboarding and use of a mouse
  • Cutting samples and packaging materials
  • Regularly lifts/moves up to 25 pounds
  • Stationary position for prolonged periods
  • Drive (or have transportation) to work and site visits
