Each member of our team is valued, with our support staff of Accounting, Marketing, and Human Resources being critical to the day-to-day functions needed to support our overall design impact. The part-time administrative assistant role is a great fit for someone who enjoys supporting a team and is eager to contribute to a creative, people-centered workplace.
Position Summary
As part of our dedicated support team, this role plays a key part in creating a welcoming and well-organized office environment—one that reflects the same level of care and creativity we bring to our design work. Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming clients, consultants, and guests to the office and ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
- Providing essential administrative support, including answering phones, booking travel, preparing documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and internal systems, and sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages.
- Monitoring office and breakroom supplies and placing orders to keep everything running smoothly.
- Coordinating service requests for office equipment and building maintenance to ensure a functional and comfortable work environment.
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of office lunches, team activities, and vendor-hosted lunch & learn events.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Availability during our core business hours, ideally 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. We offer some flexibility to fit the right candidate’s schedule.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Clear and confident communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Great organizational habits and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
