Brian Akert – Partner
Brian is a leader in design and project management, driving successful design solutions that elevate our client’s vision. His diverse background in several market sectors includes higher education, workplace, community and multifamily with expertise in conceptual design, site and master planning. As a partner, Brian will direct our firm’s design outcomes and offer mentorship to future generations within HBA. His influence will be integral to driving HBA’s success.
Zac Fredrickson – Partner
Zac has been with Holland Basham for 18 years and has worked alongside design teams, consultants, and general contractors to lead projects of all scales, across many market sectors. His leadership in design and firm practices makes him a trusted resource to our team and clients. As a partner, Zac’s leadership will ensure HBA is a top tier employer financially sound, and poised for growth.
Kristina Blatchford – Senior Associate
Kristina is an instrumental part of the HBA team, helping lead the accounting team and manage financial growth. Her strong attention to detail drives her skill of understanding the ‘why’ while problem solving. Kristina was also named HBA’s Controller, where she will ensure accuracy of financial information, manage risk, and contribute to the firm’s overall financial strategy.
Paul Concannon – Associate
Paul is a wealth of knowledge, with over 36 years of experience, who balances aspirational design with practical constructability. He is a trusted partner to our team and clients and is often sought out for his mentorship.
Quinn McFadden – Associate
Quinn exemplifies what it means to be a team player. His strong work ethic and sense of humor supports a fun, team-centered environment. He is active in the Denver community and has a passion for advocating for unique solutions to attainable housing. In fact, his book Prototyping Attainability was published in 2022 and serves as an architectural guide to attainable, urban, in-fill housing solutions.
